Understanding PAFRENT rental terms means checking the complete quote, not just the daily rate. Before booking, confirm the charged days, pickup and return locations, fuel policy, insurance excess and any optional extras. A clear breakdown helps you choose the right car without confusing a refundable deposit with your potential responsibility for damage.
This guide to PAFRENT rental terms explains seven items to review. It is a reading guide, not a replacement for the rental agreement or insurance conditions. Your selected vehicle, travel dates and confirmed arrangements determine which details apply. Ask the team to clarify anything that does not match your plans before accepting the car.
1. Check who can drive
PAFRENT drivers must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least one year. Check the documents required for your particular licence and make sure any transmission restriction matches the booked car. Every person who will drive should be properly registered in the rental agreement.
Do not assume that a travelling companion is covered simply because they are in the car. Damage caused by an unregistered driver is excluded from the optional zero-excess cover described by PAFRENT. Before travel, confirm how to add any additional driver and ask whether this changes the quoted price.
2. Read the daily rate together with the total
PAFRENT rental days are charged in started 24-hour periods. A booking from Monday at 10:00 to Thursday at 10:00 represents three periods; a later return can start another charged day. Enter accurate times when comparing offers, and ask the team before extending a confirmed rental.
Read the tax-included total alongside the daily price, selected extras and payment method. Payment is made on collection under the confirmed arrangements. If a card-payment surcharge is configured for the selected method, it should be shown before confirmation. Our Agadir rental prices guide helps you compare complete quotes rather than isolated headline rates.
3. Identify location-related transfer fees
Collection and return locations can affect the price. A route involving a more distant city, such as Marrakech and Agadir, may include a transfer fee. This is separate from the basic car rental and should appear in the booking breakdown when applicable. There is no single transfer amount that applies to every route.
Select your actual locations before reviewing the total. PAFRENT offers pickup and return by arrangement, 24 hours a day, without an additional night surcharge. That does not remove a location-related fee or guarantee an unarranged handover. If your itinerary changes, obtain confirmation of the revised location, time and price.
4. Separate no deposit from insurance excess
No security deposit means PAFRENT does not require a cash security deposit or a card hold for that purpose. It does not mean every damage cost is waived. The included Full Insurance with Excess retains a vehicle-specific excess and remains subject to the rental and insurance terms. Check the amount displayed for your chosen car.
Optional Full Insurance Without Excess is available only where offered for the selected vehicle, with a minimum of seven charged insurance days. It reduces the excess to zero for covered damage or accidents under the terms; it does not cover every possible incident. Read the insurance and excess explanation before choosing.
The optional cover includes one front windscreen and one tyre during the rental, subject to its terms. Exclusions include additional glass, wheels, tyres or punctures, an unregistered driver, wrong fuel, lost or damaged keys, and lost or damaged vehicle documents. Do not assume the option is available on every car, or that no excess means no exclusions.
5. Check fuel and mileage
Unlimited mileage is included, but fuel is not free. Return the car with the same fuel level recorded at collection. Check that level and the vehicle’s condition together when receiving it. An unlimited distance allowance does not itself authorise off-road driving, border crossings or other uses outside the agreement.
6. Understand cancellation and confirmation
PAFRENT offers free cancellation. Contact the team with your booking reference and ask for acknowledgement rather than simply not arriving. If you need to change dates, locations or the vehicle, availability and the new price must be checked. A submitted request is not yet a confirmed booking: keep the separate confirmation email.
7. Keep PAFRENT rental terms and booking details accessible
Read the current PAFRENT rental terms and conditions, save your confirmation and contact contact@pafrent.com if something is unclear. For wider trip preparation, consult the official Agadir and Taghazout destination guide. Before collection, you should know the total, return appointment, fuel rule, excess and the procedure for contacting the team.
